Welcome to Konnectd Design (https://konnectd.design). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase or download of our digital 3D design files. By accessing our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Digital Products & Intellectual Property

All 3D models, STL files, and technical documentation available on Konnectd Design are the intellectual property of Konnectd Design.

Personal Use License: Unless otherwise stated, the purchase of a digital file grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.
Commercial Use: You may not sell physical prints of these designs or redistribute the digital files unless you have acquired a specific Commercial License from Konnectd Design.
No Redistribution: Sharing, reselling, or sub-licensing digital files is strictly prohibited.

2. Affiliate Links & Bill of Materials (BOM)

To assist in the completion of our projects (such as the “Vibe Stereo” or “Maker’s Rail”), we provide a Bill of Materials (BOM) that may include affiliate links.

Third-Party Purchases: When you click an affiliate link and purchase a component (e.g., electronic modules, fasteners, or drivers), that transaction is between you and the third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon, AliExpress, etc.).
No Liability for Third-Party Goods: Konnectd Design is not responsible for the quality, shipping, or performance of products purchased through affiliate links. Any issues with those items must be resolved with the respective retailer.
Affiliate Disclosure: We may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you. This helps support the “Art Lab” and future designs.

3. DIY Nature & Safety Disclaimer

Our designs often involve DIY electronics and assembly.

Assumption of Risk: By downloading our files, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety. DIY projects involving electricity, soldering, or tools carry inherent risks.
BOM Accuracy: While we strive to recommend high-quality components, Konnectd Design does not warrant that third-party parts listed in the BOM will always be in stock or that their specifications will remain unchanged by the manufacturer.

4. Digital Sales & Refund Policy

All Sales Final: Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of 3D models and STL files are final. Once a download link has been generated or accessed, we cannot offer a refund.
Technical Support: If you encounter a corrupted file or a design error, please contact us, and we will provide a corrected version of the file.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Konnectd Design shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages—including hardware damage or personal injury—arising from the use of our designs or the assembly of projects based on our documentation.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Auckland, New Zealand.
